Expectations of being an Usher:
Timeliness – Ushers are to be on duty not later than 15 minuets
prior to services.
Meeting attendance is an absolute necessity. These meetings are
used to pass on important information as will as train on procedures as well
as the use of Usher signs.
Learning of Usher signs is an important requirement. These signs
are how ushers “communicate” with one another while on duty.
Preparation of the sanctuary – The Temple of Greater Beth-el is
prepared prior to morning worship. The ushers also assist with removing
trash and collecting fans after each service.
