Meet the Bishop


Meet Bishop Newman:


Bishop Gregory Newman is the founder and leader of The Temple of Greater Beth-EL.

He heeded the call upon his life at the tender age of 28 and began a work for the Lord on the West side of the Greater Phoenix Area in the summer 0f 1981.  With his faithful and devoted wife by his side and young children in tow, off they ventured into a ministry that has flourished and been a source of inspiration for many.

 

The church sits on eight acres of property with three major buildings.  The Fellowship Center which houses dining facilities, projections screens, and a bookstore.  Classrooms for Christian Education classes, Kidz Club and YSBC.  The Temple with its stately pillars, majestic colors, and high definition state of the art audio, video and television equipment.

 

Bishop is a very profound and anointed teacher/preacher.  He has a love for God’s word which causes him to dig deeper and pose questions that you might not normally even think to ask.  God has given his humble servant man such revelatory knowledge, that students jump at every opportunity to sit and listen and ask questions.

 

Bishop Gregory and Lady Cynthia were married, June 9, 1973 and have been blessed and highly favored with three beautiful children, Nicole, Gregory, and Isaac and two adorable grandchildren, Ariana Elizabeth and Nicholas Colvi.
