To Our
Mountain States Council Family, Beloved of God, called to be Saints:
Grace
to
you and peace from God our Father and Lord Jesus Christ to whom be
glory for ever and ever. It is with great pleasure that Elect Lady
Cynthia and I welcome you to join us at the 70th Anniversary of the
Mountain States Council this summer in Albuquerque, New Mexico. We
thank the Lord for His
brand new mercies that are renewed daily towards us. As we all gather
together in His name, let us enter into His gates with thanksgiving and
into His courts with praise. Let us be thankful unto Him and bless His
name, for the Lord is good, His mercy is everlasting and His truth
endureth to all generations.

Chairman's Welcome
 Praise
the Lord and Greetings in the Awesome Name of JESUS!!
It is time
to make plans for your attendance at the summer session of
the Mountain States Council (MSC). The MSC is scheduled for Wednesday,
July 14 - Friday, July 16, 2010. Bishop Newman and his cabinet, along
with the MSC auxiliary leaders, have worked diligently to assure that a
program has been planned with your needs in mind. We look forward to a
wonderful and uplifting time in the Lord! You will be inspired,
edified, renewed, and encouraged through the seminars, worship services,
and opportunities for fellowship. In addition, this is election year
and you will want to be able to participate in selecting the next group
of leaders of the MSC.
We will be edified through marvelous
speakers. We have confirmed one of our guest speakers for
the summer session. Bishop Iona Locke of Detroit, Michigan is scheduled
to minister during the MSC. We will also be blessed by
sermons, workshops, and seminars from some of our magnificent
ministers, teachers, pastors, evangelists, and our own Diocesan Bishop!
This
summer, we will celebrate the 70th anniversary of the MSC! This
includes a banquet, slide show, and variety of activities to commemorate
this milestone. We would like to include as many photos as possible
that capture images of our history. Please send photos to Sis. Karla
Causey (kdcausey@aol.com) so
they can be incorporated into the program.
The members of New
Covenant Worship Center are planning for your
arrival. For your convenience, all sessions (day, evening, banquet)
will be held at the Radisson Hotel Albuquerque. Please make your room
reservations as soon as possible.
We look forward to an amazing

in the Wonderful Name of our Lord Jesus Christ!
On behalf of our
Diocesan and Elect Lady of the Mountain States Council, the Honorable
Bishop Gregory W. and Cynthia Newman, Chairman District Elder Eddie
McCall and Lady Sharon McCall, and Vice Chairman District Elder Eddie
Robinson and Lady Sandra Robinson, we extend holy greetings to all.
The summer
conference of the Mountain States Council will convene on Wednesday,
July 14 through Friday, July 16, 2010. Our Chairman and New Covenant
Worship Center will host this conference in Albuquerque, New Mexico. This
year marks the 70th Anniversary of the Mountain States Council.
Our theme for the
anniversary year is "Perfect Order". Elections for the
next administration
will be held daily on site. Please remember, in order to participate in
the voting process, you must register with the specific auxiliary.
Registration with the "General" only will not allow you voting
privileges for the other auxiliaries.
We are
excited
about this conference and the program planned for the uplifting and
building of the saints. Come expecting something wonderful and your
expectations will be fulfilled. See you all in Albuquerque!

MSC - 70th ANNIVERSARY
This
summer marks the 70th anniversary of the Mountain States Council.
The MSC began in
1940!! A fabulous celebration has been planned in order to commemorate
this awesome occasion. Please plan to attend the 70th Anniversary
Banquet on Thursday, July 15, 4:00 - 6:00 p.m.
Our theme for the
anniversary year is
"Perfect Order". Ticket prices are: $30
for ages 20 and above; $20 for ages 13 - 19; and $12 for those 12 and
under. Tickets purchased after June 20th will be $35 for
adults
20 and older. You may purchase your tickets
by mailing a
money order (made out to NCWC) to New Covenant Worship Center, PO Box
66798, Albuquerque, NM 87193-6798 (Attention:
Sis. Karla Causey). We
will have availability for online ticket purchases through the New
Covenant Worship Center website (newcovenantabq.org) within the
next few days. Plan now to purchase your
ticket for this great occasion. This is an event you will not want to
miss!
